More of a food share than a recipe, for one of my Chinese classes we've been talking about food and had to do a presentation on food. I chose to do mine on using a waffle iron to cook Taiwanese foods.

This is the magic cooking device!

For waffle-ized scallion pancake with egg:

Stretch the dough to fit your iron shape

crack the egg carefully

trim the edges for a more beautiful look!

For sesame noodles, I used ramen because we didn't have real noodles ^^;

Pre-cook the ramen so it is soft

It becomes firmer after cooking, like a waffle!

The sesame paste didn't turn out so good, so I suggest finding a different recipe online. Mine consisted of black sesame paste, vinegar, salt, sugar, and sesame oil.
