Nectarine/Peach Breakfast Bake

Summer is time for peaches and nectarines! They taste great neat, but what do you do when you've got a not-so-tasty batch? Convert them into this delicious breakfast bake, that's what! All you need to cinnamon bread and a bit of sugar to transform those lackluster fruits into a comforting dish.



Nectarine/Peach Breakfast Bake

Materials
1 Nectarine or Peeled Peach, sliced
1 Slice cinnamon bread
2 t. dark brown sugar

Round pyrex container

Whipped cream (optional)

Method
1. Preheat toaster oven to 350 F and put the cinnamon bread in the pyrex.
2. Put a layer of fruit on the bread and sprinkle w/ 1 t. of the sugar.
3. Put the rest of the fruit on top in circle shape and sprinkle with the rest of the sugar.
4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until heated thoroughly.
5. Top with whipped cream and serve
